The Couchmen are proud to present their 2019 Program: "Bus Wars: The Front of the Bus Strikes Back." No rivalry in all of the Marching Arts is more storied than that of the Front Vs. the Back of the Bus. This show will explore the trials and triumph that come with living on a bus with 40 people with questionable A/C and no bathroom for an entire summer. Reports out of Indianapolis confirm that on October 11th, a full 61 days after the 2018 DCI World Champions ended, the infamous Santa Clara Vanguard Mellophone Sustain is still being held. “I know its cliche to say it, but we’ve truly never seen anything like this on the field” remarked DCI Artistic Director Lee Carlson.
